GAVILAN RIVER – PERFECT FOR SIGHT-CASTING These are lands that remain flooded 3/4 of the year, so the fishing pressure is not as aggressive as in other regions of south America. You can find 3 species of peacock bass, payara, sardinata, yamu and several species of huge catfish. Tomo is a big river with lots of structures, white sand beaches, flats, smaller tributaries and an incredible number of lagoons.
